Leadership Team Takes Shape for Warehouse Automation Consolidation

The newly merged warehouse automation company formed from Intelligrated, Trew, and Transnorm has appointed four senior executives to lead the combined organization, less than a month after private equity firm American Industrial Partners closed the acquisition.

Alfred Rebello will serve as CEO of the integrated entity, with Cortney Hunt as Chief Operating Officer, John Naylor as Chief Revenue Officer, and Bryan Jones as Chief Financial Officer. The appointments signal progress toward creating a unified identity for the three previously separate operations.

Transaction Background

In July, New York-based American Industrial Partners completed its acquisition of two Honeywell divisions—Intelligrated and Transnorm—and combined them with Trew. The consolidated organization will design, build, and support warehouse automation solutions across retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, distribution, and parcel sectors.

AIP announced Rebello's CEO appointment on the same day it closed the transaction. The three additional C-suite roles were revealed shortly after.

Operational Structure

While the leadership team works to forge a single corporate identity, each division will maintain its existing geographic footprint. Intelligrated will continue operating from its headquarters in Mason, Ohio. Trew will remain based in West Chester, Ohio. Transnorm will continue operations in Harsum, Germany.

The company has not yet determined a location for a central headquarters hub, according to Rebello.

Why It Matters

This consolidation creates a larger competitor in the warehouse automation market at a time when supply chain operators face pressure to increase efficiency and reduce labor costs. By combining three established providers under unified leadership, the merged entity can offer broader geographic coverage and potentially more integrated technology solutions. The speed of the leadership appointments—within weeks of closing—suggests AIP is moving quickly to capture market opportunities and prevent customer uncertainty during the transition. For buyers evaluating automation vendors, the merger creates a new option with expanded capabilities but also introduces questions about how well the three cultures and technology platforms will integrate.

Market Positioning

The combined company serves customers across multiple verticals that have been investing heavily in automation technology. The integration brings together complementary capabilities: Intelligrated's material handling systems, Trew's automation expertise, and Transnorm's European presence and conveyor technology.
