Vecna Robotics has closed a $31 million funding round to scale its autonomous mobile robot operations and develop new capabilities for case and pallet movement in warehouse environments. The Massachusetts-based company will use the capital to expand deployment teams, accelerate go-to-market initiatives, and build out its automation platform with additional material handling functions.
Unless led the round, with participation from existing investors Drive Capital, Tiger Global, Highland Capital Partners, and Tectonic Ventures, according to the company.

New capabilities target dock and storage operations
Vecna indicated it is developing pallet stacking and de-stacking functionality along with trailer loading and unloading capabilities. These additions are designed to extend autonomous pallet movement beyond transport into storage, staging, and dock operations, with the goal of reducing manual forklift travel and alleviating dock congestion.
The company's current fleet includes the CPJ Co-bot Pallet Jack, Autonomous Forklift, and Autonomous Tugger, all coordinated through its Pivotal orchestration platform. Vecna designs, manufactures, and supports its autonomous mobile robots from its Massachusetts facilities.
CaseFlow adoption accelerates
Demand for CaseFlow, Vecna's case-picking system, has more than doubled year over year since the product launched in 2025, the company reported. Vecna also noted continued adoption of its autonomous forklift and tugger systems as customers expand automation across material-movement operations.
"Customers aren't looking to automate a single task in isolation. They're looking for flexible ways to improve the automated flow of work broadly across their operations," CEO Karl Lagnemma said. "We're seeing that opportunity in the rapid growth of CaseFlow as well as demand across our entire fleet."
CaseFlow combines autonomous robots with Vecna's orchestration software for case-picking operations. A deployment at logistics provider GEODIS doubled picking throughput while increasing safety and reducing training time, according to Vecna.
Steve Elsbury, Senior Operations Manager at GEODIS, said workers using the robots were picking twice as much as they had with manual pallet jacks. "New pickers working with the robots typically start at a performance level of 200%, compared with the previous setup," Elsbury noted. "Their training starts with the robot system itself, versus requiring employees to first learn how to drive the equipment, navigate the facility, and use the WMS interface."
