TestMu AI reports that many organizations abandon mobile test automation within months because maintenance costs exceed the value delivered.

How Kane CLI handles mobile differently

Rather than wrapping existing Appium infrastructure, TestMu AI rebuilt Kane's core architecture to work directly with native mobile viewports. The platform uses the same reasoning and perception system for mobile apps that it applies to web testing, eliminating the need for separate tooling or workflows.

At each test step, Kane CLI captures the screen and parses the native accessibility document, cataloging every UI element with its function, position, state, and identifier. The system supports major mobile UI frameworks including UIKit, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Flutter, and React Native. When standard accessibility trees are unavailable—such as with custom canvas elements or certain Flutter controls—the agent applies visual reasoning and coordinate-based grounding to continue execution.

This consolidated artifact replaces the typical debugging workflow that requires correlating separate ADB logs, Xcode console output, and video recordings when investigating failures.
