Synthesized brings AI-native test data automation to UiPath Test Cloud

Synthesized has launched an integration with UiPath Test Cloud that embeds automated test data provisioning directly into testing workflows. The integration allows teams to invoke configured data workflows as part of their UiPath testing process, generating compliant, production-realistic test data on demand rather than relying on manual preparation or production copies.

The London-based company announced the integration on September 8, 2026, positioning it as a solution to a persistent bottleneck in automated testing: while test execution itself has become increasingly automated, data preparation typically remains a separate, manual step that can stall otherwise efficient workflows.

Why it matters

Automated testing only delivers value when tests can actually run. Many organizations invest heavily in test automation platforms but still face delays when required data is unavailable, already consumed by previous tests, or cannot be safely copied from production due to compliance requirements. By making test data preparation a native step inside the testing workflow rather than a separate handoff, this integration addresses a structural gap that has limited the effectiveness of continuous testing strategies—particularly for complex business processes that span multiple connected systems like SAP, custom applications, and APIs.

How the integration works

Configured UiPath test workflows can now invoke Synthesized data workflows before test execution begins. Synthesized generates or transforms the required data while applying specified privacy treatments and relationship rules for the selected scenario. Teams can reuse these data-preparation workflows across subsequent test runs without rebuilding the process manually each time.

The integration supports scenarios that require more than isolated records with realistic field values. For business-process testing—such as a configured SAP Order-to-Cash scenario—the system prepares related customers, products, orders, and invoices in the required state so the selected process can execute properly.
