Lenovo, Dell, Asus and HP debut Arm-based systems targeting creators running agentic workflows without cloud dependence.

First RTX Spark Laptops Arrive

Nvidia's RTX Spark chip is moving from concept to reality. At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Lenovo showed the first working laptop built around the Arm-based "superchip" Nvidia unveiled three months earlier, while several PC makers announced their own RTX Spark systems coming this fall.

The Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 represents the debut hardware. This 16-inch convertible measures 0.69 inches thick—nearly matching the 16-inch MacBook Pro—and features a 2880 x 1800 OLED touchscreen at 120Hz. The system combines Nvidia's Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 6,144 cores in a single system-on-chip design, similar to Apple's silicon architecture. Based on core count, the integrated GPU sits between current RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080 laptop chips in theoretical capability.

Lenovo will also ship a 15-inch Yoga Pro 9n at 0.66 inches thick, with a Force Pad touchpad that accepts stylus input. The Pro model supports up to 128GB of memory, while the 16-inch version caps at 64GB. Dell, Asus, Microsoft and HP are launching their own RTX Spark laptops, including the Dell XPS 16, Asus ProArt P16, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and HP OmniBook X 14.

Mini Desktop Systems Join the Lineup

Acer and Asus both announced Mac Mini-sized desktop systems using RTX Spark. The Acer SFF RTX Spark and Asus ProArt Mini PC deliver what the companies call "a petaflop of AI performance" with up to 128GB of memory. These compact systems arrive one week after Apple announced its M6 Mac mini and M5 Ultra Mac Studio.

Lenovo separately introduced an AMD-powered alternative, the ThinkCentre X Ultra, using AMD's Ryzen Max+ Pro 495 chip with 128GB RAM capacity. That system starts at $3,699, offering a pricing reference point for the category.

These systems target a specific use case: running agentic AI workflows locally rather than through cloud services. With memory configurations reaching 128GB—far beyond typical consumer laptops—they're designed for users running large language models and AI agents that process sensitive financial data, emails, or personal information without sending it to external servers.
