Automation Anywhere has released its agentic Procure-to-Pay solution, extending its Autonomous Finance suite with an AI-powered platform designed to orchestrate procurement workflows across disconnected enterprise systems.

The solution addresses a persistent challenge in corporate finance: procurement processes that span multiple systems where a single exception can cascade into delays and manual intervention. According to details first reported by PR Newswire, the platform acts as an intelligent coordination layer connecting procurement, ERP, finance, and supplier systems without requiring organizations to replace existing infrastructure.

How the technology works

The agentic Procure-to-Pay solution coordinates activities from vendor onboarding through requisition, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice processing, and payment tracking. When exceptions arise, a built-in AI assistant identifies issues, surfaces relevant context, and recommends resolution actions.

The platform builds on Automation Anywhere's existing invoice-processing technology, which the company reports has helped customers achieve up to 90 percent straight-through processing rates — the proportion of invoices that move through systems without human intervention. Organizations can deploy the solution incrementally, starting with accounts payable and expanding to additional workflows as operational needs evolve.
