The firm projects that by the end of 2027, 60% of providers in this space will offer advanced Content Assistant Coworkers—AI systems designed to work alongside humans rather than operate autonomously—as a primary product offering.

The result is measurably lower operational compute costs in environments processing millions of documents monthly.

The analysis provides both graphical positioning and qualitative assessment of how each vendor is navigating the transition from deterministic workflows to AI-orchestrated processes.
