Vasion targets unmanaged document problem with new platform

Vasion has released Intelligent Print Automation (IPA), a cloud-native solution designed to prevent enterprise documents from disappearing into unmanaged repositories when employees print, save, or scan files outside approved systems.

The St. George, Utah-based company announced the platform on June 22, 2026, positioning it as a response to the growing volume of unstructured data that now comprises the majority of enterprise information. According to Vasion, traditional document workflows create compliance, security, and operational risks when critical information loses visibility.

IPA works by integrating with existing applications and leveraging familiar print workflows while automatically directing documents to approved destinations including business systems, compliance platforms, and AI workflows. The approach aims to maintain governance and data accessibility without disrupting employee habits.

Built for regulated industries

Vasion is targeting highly regulated sectors including healthcare, government, financial services, and education—industries where document tracking and compliance requirements are stringent.

The platform runs on Vasion's cloud-native, multi-tenant architecture and connects with the company's broader portfolio of document automation, e-signature, intelligent document processing, and workflow tools. Vasion says the integrated approach can reduce the need for multiple document management vendors while supporting compliance requirements including FedRAMP High standards.
