OpenAI has expanded its Daybreak cyber defense service with a new specialized model and tiered access structure designed to help organizations defend against AI-powered attacks.

The company announced Monday that Daybreak now operates in two tiers—Blue and Red—both providing approved customers access to OpenAI's frontier cyber models. The expansion includes GPT-5.6-Cyber, a new model built on GPT-5.6 Sol that's optimized for specialized cybersecurity tasks.
