AI-assisted inventory module in preview
At HITEC, Inn-Flow previewed an AI-assisted Inventory module designed for food and beverage, retail, and supply operations. The tool is built to work alongside the procurement and accounting platforms, automating receiving, counting, reconciliation, ordering, and month-end reporting.
The module provides real-time visibility into on-hand inventory across storage locations and properties, auto-pulls invoices from procurement for reconciliation, and sets item-level par levels with reorder suggestions that flow directly to the shopping cart. Inn-Flow is currently testing the module with design-partner properties and plans broader availability by the end of the third quarter.
Proactive financial alerts through AI Insights
Inn-Flow's AI Insights feature shifts business intelligence from retrospective reporting to forward-looking alerts. The system analyzes each property's operating patterns to surface issues before they affect performance.
Initial capabilities include over-budget alerts that flag expense categories trending beyond budget before month-end, labor cost projections that combine actual punches and schedules to forecast payroll spend, and missing expense notifications that identify recurring invoices or accruals not yet received.
Accounting and labor enhancements
The platform also added accounting improvements including Daily Activity 2.0 for streamlined nightly audit review and Reimbursements 2.0 for inter-company expense allocation with better traceability.
On the labor side, new features launching in the third quarter include automated FLSA overtime calculations with weighted-average support for employees working multiple positions, state-specific overtime compliance for California and Colorado, and pay-per-room compensation options for housekeeping teams.
