Higgsfield quadruples valuation in rapid enterprise pivot

Higgsfield closed a $400 million Series B funding round at a $5.4 billion valuation, the company announced Monday. The financing represents more than a four-fold increase from the visual AI startup's $1.3 billion Series A valuation and signals strong investor confidence in enterprise-focused generative AI tools.

DST Global led the round, with participation from Tribe Capital, Goldman Sachs Alternatives' Growth Equity division, Smash Capital, Fifth Wall, Valor Capital, Intel Capital, Liberty Global Tech Ventures, Mirae Asset Capital, and NTT DOCOMO Ventures. Previous backers Accel, Menlo Ventures, and GFT Ventures also joined the round.

Why it matters

Higgsfield's trajectory illustrates how quickly generative AI companies can scale when they successfully pivot from consumer to enterprise markets. The shift from 25% business revenue in January to majority enterprise sales today demonstrates that Fortune 500 companies are moving beyond experimentation to production deployment of AI visual tools—a validation that could accelerate broader enterprise AI adoption across creative workflows.

Revenue surge driven by Fortune 500 adoption

The company's annualized revenue reached $700 million this month, up dramatically from $20 million one year earlier, according to details first reported by Yahoo Finance. Business customers now generate the majority of that revenue—a complete reversal from January, when enterprise clients represented less than one-quarter of sales.

Higgsfield now serves more than 30 million users across 238 countries and territories. The company said it powers visual production for 390 Fortune 500 companies across advertising, media and entertainment, broadcasting, fashion, retail, financial services, and pharmaceuticals.

From Snapchat filters to enterprise automation

CEO and co-founder Alex Mashrabov previously built AI Factory, the computer vision company behind Snapchat's face filters. Snap acquired AI Factory in 2019. Mashrabov confirmed the funding details to the Financial Times, contrasting his current work with his consumer-focused past.

"At Snapchat, the face filters I built were primarily used by teenagers for entertainment," Mashrabov said. "At Higgsfield, we are transforming how larger businesses run marketing campaigns."

Agentic AI products fuel growth

A significant driver of Higgsfield's expansion has been adoption of its agentic products, which automate multi-scene visual production. Following a Supercomputer rollout in May 2026, users of these products grew 42-fold over three months, generating more than 20 million pieces of content monthly.

The company plans to deploy the new capital toward research and development, global infrastructure expansion, AI talent acquisition, and sales team growth.

DST Global founder Yuri Milner said in a statement that the firm looks forward to supporting Higgsfield "as they build the next generation of AI tools for visual creation."

Details of the funding round were first reported by Yahoo Finance and the Financial Times.
