Buildots Raises $130M to Scale AI Platform Across Construction
The Israeli startup now serves over 100 major firms including Intel and Digital Realty as data center demand accelerates adoption.

Buildots secures major funding round amid construction AI surge
Buildots, an AI platform provider for the construction industry, has closed a $130 million funding round led by O.G. Venture Partners, bringing the company's total capital raised to $297 million. The Tel Aviv-based company reports maintaining triple annual revenue growth for multiple consecutive years, according to details first reported by PR Newswire.
The round included participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intel Capital, and several other institutional investors. Two new investors joined the cap table: Human Capital, known for backing SpaceX and Neuralink, and Mohari Ventures.
Why it matters
Construction represents a $16 trillion global industry that has historically lagged in technology adoption, yet now sits on the critical path for AI infrastructure deployment. As hyperscalers race to build data centers and manufacturing returns to Western markets, the ability to track and predict construction progress with precision has shifted from nice-to-have to business-critical. Buildots' traction with major customers signals that construction's digital transformation may finally be reaching an inflection point.
Platform built on proprietary site data
Buildots' technology creates what the company describes as a feedback loop between physical construction sites and digital project models. The platform's computer vision system processes video footage to generate digital twins of projects, cross-referencing this imagery against construction schedules and 3D models to classify hundreds of work types.
Crucially, the company's AI models are trained on eight years of data collected from actual construction sites rather than general-purpose models or internet-scraped content. This proprietary dataset represents a competitive moat that cannot be easily replicated.
The platform replaces manual inspections and fragmented progress reports with a continuously updated view of project status, enabling earlier identification of delays and more accurate forecasting.
Customer base spans major contractors and owners
More than 100 large-scale construction firms currently deploy Buildots, including project owners Digital Realty and Intel, as well as major contractors such as STO Building Group, JE Dunn, Mortenson, Bouygues, and HOCHTIEF. Turner Construction also appears on the company's customer roster.
According to CEO and co-founder Roy Danon, seven-figure, multi-year, portfolio-wide agreements have become standard rather than exceptional for the company. The platform is now used across residential, commercial, and mission-critical projects of varying scales.
Expansion strategy targets three dimensions
Buildots plans to use the new capital to scale in what it characterizes as three directions: expanding into more major construction portfolios across North America and Europe; extending deeper into the full construction lifecycle from initial bidding through project handover; and developing higher-level business intelligence capabilities that enable portfolio-wide operational management.
Ziv Kop, managing partner at O.G. Venture Partners, positioned Buildots as building "the foundational technology layer" for construction—infrastructure that other industry participants will depend on.
The company aims to become as essential to construction operations as financial management or procurement systems, embedding itself as indispensable infrastructure within customer organizations.
