Acoustic Unveils Agentic Marketing Platform

Acoustic has introduced Acoustic AI, a new platform designed to function as an autonomous marketing teammate that continuously monitors first-party customer behavior to identify revenue opportunities as they emerge.

The system represents a shift from retrospective analytics to proactive intelligence. Rather than waiting for patterns to solidify in traditional reporting dashboards, Acoustic AI evaluates live customer signals and alerts marketers to opportunities worth pursuing immediately.

How the Platform Works

Built on Acoustic Connect, the company's customer engagement platform, Acoustic AI combines behavioral intelligence with campaign execution in a single system. The platform uses Acoustic's proprietary In-Market Index, which evaluates 27 behavioral attributes to generate real-time intent scores. These scores reveal when customer interest is building, shifting, or declining for specific products or categories.

The system then cross-references these behavioral signals with a brand's product catalog to prioritize opportunities by potential revenue impact, drilling down to the SKU level.

According to John Riewerts, Chief Product Officer at Acoustic, the technology addresses a fundamental gap in marketing operations. "Marketing technology has been built around a fundamental disconnect: marketers understand customer behavior in one system and act on it in another," Riewerts said. "Acoustic challenges that model by bringing behavioral intelligence and execution together in one platform."

Three Core Capabilities

Acoustic AI delivers three primary functions for marketing teams:

First, it proactively surfaces behavioral shifts before they appear in standard reports—such as growing interest in a product while conversions lag, or a channel underperforming for a specific category.

Second, it enables natural language queries about product performance. Marketers can ask questions in plain language, and the platform's Catalog Gap Analysis returns evidence-based answers with revenue opportunities quantified at the SKU level.

Third, it assists with campaign assembly. Marketers describe the segment, message, or campaign they need, and Acoustic AI builds it while verifying compliance requirements and opt-out language before saving.

Early User Feedback

Megan Ross, Head of Marketing at Society of London Theatre, was among the customers who previewed the platform. She highlighted the system's guidance capabilities as particularly valuable.

"What impressed me most about Acoustic AI was the guidance," Ross said. "There's so much you can do with AI capabilities built into the software we use today that the challenge becomes knowing where to focus and what to do next. Acoustic AI gives you recommendations that help answer exactly that."

Ross noted that when she discovered a missing data connection during her evaluation, the platform didn't just identify the gap but guided her toward the necessary next steps.

Why it matters

The launch reflects a broader industry shift toward agentic AI systems that can operate with increasing autonomy while keeping humans in control of final decisions. For marketing teams drowning in data, the ability to automatically surface high-value opportunities from live behavioral signals could significantly reduce the time between customer intent and marketing response—a critical advantage in competitive markets where timing often determines conversion success.
